With over 15 years of professional DJ experience as a nightclub DJ, radio mix DJ, and traveling state to state DJing for various artists and performers, DJ Mic Rose has ultimately become one of the area's hottest DJs. Calling the Yuba Sutter area his home, you can still see this hometown heavyweight live in action at local bars, clubs, and city events.

DJ Mic Rose is also a certified sound engineer and owns a local recording studio "The Rose Room" located in Yuba City, CA, where he also produces music and engineers artists who want to professionally record music.

About Me

My Short Story

Yuba City native Mic Rose is a DJ, Certified Sound Engineer, Producer, Artist, Songwriter, and Radio Personality. He has been involved with playing music since an early age and developed an appreciation for all genres of music dating back to the 1960s and 70s.

Throughout his school years, he picked up break dancing, DJing, and rapping as everyday hobbies and starred in after-school programs, dances, shows, and Fairground events. After high school he moved to Sacramento, CA, enrolling in colleges where he took vocal, music, and music business courses. He is a Sound Master College graduate.

Today, Mic Rose DJs and performs at night clubs, venues, and events, and has worked with the School District and Youth Programs. He continues his passion for music as a Producer, Engineer, and Songwriter for many artists.

When we sing or create music, we use all the parts of the brain — left, right, front, and back — all collaborating at once. That is very unique. Music is complex; it uses so many aspects of a person's being.

I have been DJing professionally for over 15 years and I know how to keep the crowd moving and entertained using various techniques — blending, scratching, and mixing across genres. My goal is to provide the best DJ service for your next occasion and make your experience memorable.
